Day 1: Entebbe- Airport- Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda! On arrival, you will be met at the Airport by our Company representative who will escort you to your safari vehicle and transfer you to your accommodation for an overnight.
Your journey will be approx. 8km. 15min drive
Day 2: Entebbe- Lake Mburo N. P
Your Ugandan safari adventure begins in earnest with a trip to Lake Mburo National Park. You will head west on a scenic drive towards the heartland of the Ankole Kingdom. The drive is one of the most scenic in Uganda as you transition out of the suburbs of the city and into open marsh and the grasslands, where the famous long horned Ankole cattle graze.
Your journey will be approx. 270km. 6hrs drive
Arrive for lunch at the lodge and an afternoon boat ride on lake Mburo. Some of wildlife to see include; large groups of hippos as well as crocodiles and buffalo lining the banks of the lake and various species of bird life.
Day 3: Lake Mburo N. P- Bwindi N.P
A Game drive in Lake Mburo National Park is a perfect way to begin or end a Safari in Uganda. The park has a variety of wildlife that almost contradicts it's small size in comparison to the other parks in Uganda. Species include, antelopes, Rothschild's giraffe, the Burchell's zebra and eland which are only found in two National Parks in Uganda. After the game drive you will drive to Bwindi National park with Lunch en-route.

Day 4: Bwindi N.P
Your Gorilla Trekking experience is finally here, hope your camera is charged and you are ready for what lies ahead. An early start will see you transfer to the Park Headquarters for a briefing with the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides. An advance party of guides will have gone ahead into the forest to locate where the gorillas slept the previous night and will have begun to track their movements. These guides will communicate with your team via a walkie-talkie and the trek into the forest will begin.
Locating the Gorillas can take a few hours or the whole day depending on how far they have moved from the place they spent the previous night. For conservation purposes, the amount of time allowed with the Gorillas is 1 hour. As you trek through the forest you will appreciate why the forest is called impenetrable.
After your trek may have time to relax at your lodge or visit Ride for A Woman project in the afternoon.
5: Bwindi N.P- Kihihi Airstrip- Entebbe Airport
After breakfast you will be transferred to Kihihi for your flight back to Entebbe. The drive from your lodge to the airstrip shouldn't long, the journey will be approx.; 70km. 2hrs drive.
On arriving at Entebbe International Airport, you will connect with your outward flight to the next destination.
